The 2012 spiritual retreat is an immersion into the power of Divine Will and the power of Divine Grace. It is an opportunity to get connected to the integrated path of Reiki and Raja Yoga.
As we have all studied in school or colleges the law of conservation of energy - “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed from one state to another”. This is a very powerful law from spiritual perspective. If Energy cannot be created or destroyed, that means Energy always existed, but then in what form? The law further explains that this energy stays in a state called “Potential Energy”.
My religion has four tenets - breath, energy, love and consciousness.
Breath: every being should be able to breathe easy. Religion should relieve the individual, not burden him/her.
Energy: every being should understand the law of energy and remain energized. So that he/she can heal themselves and others, and act positively without dullness.
Love: every being should be capable and free to experience love and give love without fear.
Consciousness: every being should see one-ness with another as parts of the same unified eternal consciousness.
Guru Purnima is celebrated as the "Guru's Day" amongst the spiritual community across the globe. On this day, seekers and initiates thank and remember their Gurus who brought the peace and light of spirituality in their lives. This year is exceptional because this year Guru Purnima coincides with Mahavatar Babaji Smriti Divas - the day when Mahavatar Babaji appeared to Paramhansa Yogananda.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your near and dear ones!
Today, as I was asking Divine about what message to convey this Thanksgiving, I was led to ponder on the recent conversations I have had with my family and my friends. The recurring theme of all such conversations has been the constant thinking, judging, evaluating and fantasizing we keep doing through our minds every moment of our life.
