Manage Your Energy and Not Your Time

Thinking about the importance of energy management, I remembered this article from the Harvard Business Review: "Manage Your Energy and Not You Time":

Now isn't this what we have been teaching for so many years? Yogis have taught this since ancient times. This is what the disciplines of Energy Healing, Yoga and Reiki have taught for hundreds of years. Isn't it interesting how the modern viewpoint is gradually but surely catching up with the ancient wisdom?!

Each session of Reiki, each utterance of the Divine chant, each breath of the Guru given pranayama, and each quality moment spent in meditation essentially fills you with Divine Energy - it reduces the decay that we go through everyday while helping us transcend that which is the "every day".

This is the time for energy

This is the time for energy management. Soon people will see books in book stores on energy management. The paradigm shift is happening now and looks like after 2012 this will start to become more and more visible.

From personal experience, I can tell the nights I do meditation/healing my next day goes very smooth and nice, and cheerful. If I keep the regularity for a week, I notice a feeling of calm and joy always surrounding me. It is during this time the forces of Maya start acting up on you to break this regularity and cycle. Sometimes I am able to fight them and continue and sometimes I learn another new way on how to get myself distracted.

Though in this journey there are ups and downs, overall I feel that I am gaining and evolving as a better/more aware human being. I am able to notice events happening in my life objectively.

I remember talking to my Guru few years back, about getting stressed and feeling depressed or hurt by what people around me were doing/saying. He mentioned that following the DHC's Energy Management techniques will help me change my thought process and perspective. Example, if an event happens in your life, how do you perceive the pain that you experience from that event, is it like you are hit by a car or pinched by a needle. He said we need to change our perspective and thought process from hit by car to pinch by a needle and this will only come when you are able to expand your mind and understand what is real and what is unreal. As you follow these techniques they will give you 2 things -
1. Protection (Divine grace) from any of these types of events to happen
2. Understanding and Wisdom, in case of an event, to deal with the pain as if it was like a pinch of the needle

Thus will lead you to be in more stable state of mind, leading towards permanent joy and happiness.

So leave the back roads and join the spiritual highway.............
