Our lives have suddenly become as we have never experienced before. Many of us are either under lockdown or self-quarantined. Many of us are now working from home which means very little physical exercise. To help you stretch and relax the mind and body, while confined indoors, Divine Heart Center is offering live online yoga sessions every week.
This class will combine both the primary styles, Vinyasa and Hatha. This class is designed for all levels with modifications offered to take the class at your own level and ability.
The Hatha is a slower practice with longer holds and more attention to a specific alignment, the Vinyasa flows more with movement and breath synchronized. Each class will be unique with a different emphasis.

Online yoga practice requires you to be your own best teacher- one who knows your body the best and hence can best gauge the safety of the yoga practice within your personal physical limitations.
About the instructor
Latha Radhakrishnan is a certified yoga instructor. She holds a Master’s in Computer Science and has worked in IT industry for 22 years. She has been practicing yoga for more than 18 years. She is a part of Being Volunteer Foundation, USA Inc. a nonprofit charitable organization. She does yoga for humanity and aims to promote health and wellness, preventive care, and community building. She has been a fitness fanatic, dabbled in various activities like Zumba, HIT, Body pump, and Spinning.
She strives to bring her love of the practice into her teaching. Her yoga class starts with breathing techniques (Pranayama) and then continues with micro yoga exercises (Loosening), warm-up (Sun Salutation), asanas, and ends with meditation (Deep relaxation). She can help you to learn and practice yoga with self-awareness, confidence, and compassion.
Yoga is not only a physical exercise, it is an experience that connects the mind, body, and soul.
