If life itself is an expression of consciousness expanding, then what is really the purpose of seeking the Self?

Is the longing for liberation also part of the same divine play, or does it point to something deeper, something we are meant to do?

It depends on the level from which you are asking this question.

If you are asking from within the realm of Maya, then yes, there is a responsibility. You have been placed in this dream, and you are playing a part in it.

The first step is to recognize that this is a dream.
The second is to perform your part as sincerely and as completely as possible.

When you do that, you begin to grow. You graduate. And you move into higher levels of awareness.

Every being in this creation has this responsibility to find their way back home. That is the purpose of creation itself.

God breathes out, and creation begins. As that breath continues, creation expands. Within this expansion, different beings go through experiences. Egos interact, clash, learn, and evolve. Some are called toward the path, toward practice.

And eventually, when dissolution happens, when pralaya comes, everything returns back. Everything dissolves into the source. And then creation begins again.

This cycle has been going on since time immemorial.

So for a human being, the primary responsibility is very simple: to find God. To find the creator. To realize your own self as that source.

If this is not done, confusion remains.

The nature of the mind is that it does not stay still. If it is not uplifted, if it is not refined, it starts becoming heavier, darker. And when that imbalance increases, nature itself begins to correct it.

So it is always in your best interest to follow a spiritual path, to purify your mind, to purify your heart. That is your work.

What Is True Intelligence?

Often people misunderstand intelligence. They think intelligence means knowledge - reading more, knowing more, accumulating information.

But that is not intelligence. That is only memory.

True intelligence is experiential.

If you read about driving a car, you may understand every concept. But until you sit behind the wheel and actually drive, you do not have the intelligence of driving.

Similarly, spiritual intelligence is the ability to use the mind as a tool rather than being used by it. It is the ability to use the senses rather than being controlled by them.

When this intelligence develops, something very natural begins to happen.

You start feeling closer to God.

That is the test.

In meditation, your energy begins to withdraw from the senses. It starts moving inward. First, it may rise toward the heart, giving you a sense of joy, lightness, and expansion.

Then, it moves beyond even that into a state that is quiet, fulfilling, and beyond expression. A state where the mind has no access.

That is intelligence.

Not something you think about. It is something you experience.

So the purpose is not complicated.

Recognize the dream.
Play your part sincerely.
Purify your mind and heart.
And move closer to your source.
Everything else will follow.
